Got myself a Moringa tree... couple pears, a few citrus varieties, and blackberries planted.

Been planting trees on hillside swales I dug.. about 15 fig trees now (cuttings I started last year). craziest rock/clay/iron soil.

Hey when did you start those fig cuttings?
I'm growing Moringa trees myself! Pops imported a pod of seeds and I planted them about 3 months ago. Check it out. Its an older pic, I'll snap a picture of them tomorrow as they're way bigger.

That rod must have been doing a full U. You mentioned that you were trying to catch the bigger fish with the smaller rod...for the challenge? Or what? How heavy do you think that fish is?
Actually I just like using a smaller rod because even the smaller fish are fun. I will usually use an 8wt when going after just bass but I use a 4 and a 5wt a lot of the times. One of them bigger pickerel I posted the other day I caught on a 4 wt. Main drawback isn’t so much fighting the fish it’s the smaller rods don’t have enough backbone to throw bigger flies.
Anyway I use a kayak anchor with my little canoe so when I hook a decent fish like that it’s best to pull the anchor. Rod was bent over pretty good. Pulled my canoe over 40yds.

I’ve never weighed a fish in my life. No clue. The bass I hooked the other day was probably twice as heavy. He went apesh*t when hooked. Pulled the line through my hands so quick he gave me line burn (paper cut). Then gave me half my line back and told me to learn how to fish chump.

Awesome.. I thought I was the only werido on here that would know what it is. Cool deal. I bought some seeds locally, but lost them somewhere... so I bought a young one from the Home Depot.

I started the figs not this past winter, but the one prior. I take the cutting off dormant tree and placed like 300 in big plastic bags with moist paper towels. I posted a lot of it on here (BYC), but that was before you joined us I think.
