No they dont. They are very much on the spanish side.

My hatchs mostly have them. big Dark legged hens.
I am not sure why but rarely do I see the smaller hens with spurs. A friend of mine has a small double spurred spanish hen.

Some fluff from 0700 on Sunday morning where son and I went out collecting crayfish and looking for nesting Smallmouth Bass.

Hen with six chicks so far and two more pipped. She and brood will be going to the St. Louis Science Center GRO-Exhibit as part of demonstration on chickens. I have to tame her down and get chicks to come quickly when called by Saturday morning.

stags start doing weird things when your daughter holds them all day and keeps them under the blankets on the bed...
This one 3 month old she likes has become crazy tame and just waits for her at the door... he takes "dirt" bath in the blankets, and shuffle dances everything including, people, kittens and baby chicks. makes weird soft quail sounds when she holds him.

I think she turning him snowflake... not that there is anything wrong with that.

I've got one biddie (older kelso pullet) that's pretty tame she just flys up on my shoulder or comes and lays down in my hand if she wants picked up.

My black bird from havoc well I can just go straight up and pick him up no issues.

I like those calm birds that are easy to handle and friendly. They almost become a pest being under foot, wanting treats. lol The blues from SDM tend to be really friendly like that. I have two blue stags that are first in line for treats.

I have to get another hen with 7 chicks about 2 weeks old to fly from table to table in front of a crowd by Saturday. They are not supposed to fly up on people, nor is their mother. Another hen does that too much then the whole brood comes up. Some folks not used to chickens are not good with that.
