I must say the blacks are feathering out really odd compared to the others.

Coons and possums have been terrible this year. I have been getting 1-2 each night with three traps set out by the pens. Two coons again this morning.

Critter catch here is really slow. Last coon was last fall. Opossums occasionally found in pasture and woods courtesy of dogs. Fox has not been around for a month or more. GHO every night but it gets nothing. I do have some very aggressive rabbits that are clearly chasing chickens away from their nests.

Where's the fun in that? My aim also works 24/7 even while holding a rifle an flashlight it's pretty dead on. I got two box traps set and out of 5 total 2 were trapped. Ima get some hand traps soon enough.

I'm saving all these to ship to you and man are they stinky.....

Something scalped a hen so I knew I had to do something regardless of sleep. Havocs the resident traper he's gonna lead me in the right direction for that until then I'll have to do what I've been doing. My old savage bolt action 22 with open sights is a straight shooter.

No, not yet... I have been so busy I haven't had any extra time to build pens or cages. I worry about the coons and such as I do not have an electric fence.
