Seriously??? His face color looks fine. I have a bird right now that dropped his tail and not much else. Granted his tail could have been ripped out but he looks like he’s molting to me.

She had to chase him so he is active.

I’ll give him a nice nail trim and clean cage and probably some coconut oil.

Havoc is in this for the pet shop side of things so forgive him. He likes color but does not understand its relevance. I am being mean.

I would isolate based on source alone. Typically, the hackles thin considerably prior to loss of tail feathers. Real assessment better based on bird in hand, but coloration of exposed fleshed I like better to be closer to red. Take time to monitor his feces, feed intake and drinking.

Set him next to another rooster and see if he perks up... He should stand taller, crow more often and face should flush more red.... If he doesnt he may be sick or be depressed.

Every bird molts differently. There is no one size fits all like centra likes to believe.

My god the op hasn’t even actually seen the bird and everyone is saying it’s sick. The only thing noticeable is the feet.
