Nice eclipse molt. He's not quite done yet though, which he may or may not complete. Show us again in a few weeks if he does complete his eclipse. The experts in the literature says that only the pure red junglefowl go through the eclipse molt, and so if anybody argues that chickens don't go through eclipse, your picture is the perfect argument.

As for my picture, I wasn't able to find out who is the owner of the picture/bird (otherwise I would credit him/her in the picture), but the bird was labeled as a Peruvian Gamefowl. It eclipse quite well for a chicken.
