Ok he lives in a dog cage, and him and my other cannot touch each other based on the way the wire is setup around the cage. They do taunt but most generally Zeus leaves and the stare off doesn’t last but a few seconds, the other males basically get bored and since their not nearly determined to fight they leave the scene and continue on with their day.
You cannot trust the others to just leave every time. You have not even had this new bird for a day. Follow advice closely until you get a better handle on how he is to be kept.

So a foot between him and the rooster,so should I add a set of wire to the cage?

I keep individuals in separate pens with at least a few feet between them. Ideally view is obstructed so birds invest less in getting to each other. The only time birds are kept closer is when their is a partition they cannot see through. The partition I use most often is something like plywood sheet attached to the existing wire panel.

I wasn’t going to add the bird anytime soon,I was gonna wait weeks before adding him to my flock, that way I can get to know him and let him get back into better fetaheirng condition.

Could I see your setup.

Most mine a in 4' x 5' pens that are about 5' tall. Most pens have a wooden base made of 2 x 4's. My favorite pens are made of heavier 2 x 4 welded wire like used in masonry work where the pens are stiff enough to not require a wooden base. My location has significant wind issue so pen covers are made to detach easily. This time year I also have so pens are well shaded by heavy vegetation coming in at angle.
