That bird is older than 7-8 months. He looks fine, just molting. If you breed him with other nongame hens the male offspring will most likely still have to be kept separate.

F1 hybrids I have made involving Red Jungle Fowl, American Dominique, White Plymouth Rock, and Barred Plymouth rock where game is the sire are not game; therefore male offspring do not have special housing requirements. Female offspring have well developed capacity for being broody.

Your sire probably wasn’t game to begin with.

Some of his wing feathers appear damaged and not related to molt.
He’s got some broken feathers but if he doesn’t have any body wounds that are bleeding or infected I’m sure he’ll be just fine with proper housing and care.

Lots of wing fetahers missin on the left,so many it looks like he doesn’t have a wing.He cannot fly,but feathers are falling off of him,so probably a molt.He acts and appears healthy and is vocal.

Somewhere he got handled roughly causing loss of flight feathers. He will be fine if feathers only issue. Some of damaged feathers are likely new so may be best to pull if they do not fall out on their own. Lack of capacity to fly means look him over closely. He should be able to fly as molt in games generally does not ground them even when all tail feathers missing.
