The method I was tought by my father was to not feed the stag for a couple days only water. Then feed him by hand only with a mix of feed and banana to hold it together and treat the stag. Repeat the feeding until he sees your hand as life not a threat. His most aggressive cocks would fly to his hand when they hear his feeding whistle.

That is similar to approach I learned. It differed in that you approached the penned stag many times each time proving only a small morsel of food each time. Worked great for calming a flighty stag but some of havoc's issue might be man-fighter related and that is more of a need to stop doing something to prevent it from starting in the first place.

at the end of the day it's just a chicken. I Don't let my 3 yr old near his pen. Besides him who's gonna get hurt? Your acting like I got a caged hyena here! Relax I'm just saying he's tougher to handle than most and just a little faster. If I really needed to I could just ring his neck in 2 seconds.

I've done nothing to cause his aggressiveness towards me. Just about all other stags I can scoop out with one hand with no issues. What would you recommend ol chicken whisperer?

This bird will take grass from my hand no problem. He's gotta screw loose. He got into a pen fight with a guinea when he was younger but other than nothing that I can think of.
