That's not it either, I've been adding Wheat germ Oil to the feed every other day.Sometimes I would add a little extra oil to the feed. Any food oil should work, but corn, soy or vegetable oil are cheapest. Most feeds are around 3% or so fat, you can bump it up a couple of percent. The birds generally work the sheath off and the feathers turn out okay.
