Oh I misunderstood if they not bothering them than that's cool. I have more of an issue with the feral cats fighting my wife's 2 suppose to be here cats.

The rest earn their keep by killing moles and voles that tear up my yard. They usually kill a decent amount of em too. Plus they keep raccoons away. Although they just sit and watch possums, had to shoot one two nights ago.

Yeah just gotta watch the real young chicks. They can mistake them for songbirds. Other than that they don't cause any problems really. Aside from the incessant meowing at the back door.

I don't understand why they aren't bothered by possums. They sit there inches away watching. The I shoot em and the cats look at me like"what u do that for?"

I did have two males fighting on my deck one night in winter. I had a bad day so I went and grabbed both of em and launched them off the deck. I was putting wood on the fire so I had thick gloves on. They were both a little surprised but weren't hurt.
Matter of fact I had a bad day today but there isn't anything on the deck to throw off right now lol
