I think the black mama hen is the instigator... 3 days ago she got into a similar fight with white hen.

I thought the hatch hen got eaten or something until I noticed the black hen was gone. I went looking for them and found them in the bushes locked onto eachother face. I threw some dirt/rocks at them and they wouldn't scatter, so I had to crawl into the thorny bushes and grab them. I took the hatch hen back to her chicks. all is good

Wow your black hen is a mean hen sounds like she's the boss... Kinda like my spangled hatch she's the meanest hen I got

The oldest I have is the 9 week olds yet I'm still worried each time I get home from work and check on em. All is good today with the exception of a miner stag acting a fool.

I don't understand why after everything that has ever been written or taught about games when one beats another it's mean. No it's not once again it's doing what its been bred for for over a century. It's like putting a lion and gazelle together and every time the mean lion kills and eats the gazelle but gazelles keep getting put with the lion. It's what lions do. Ok rant over so anyway.......
