aint got to be a rocket scientist to make that determination. Lol
But maybe it will take one to make it clear that just because you are not able doesn't mean another can't accomplish it. If I had not seen it with my own eyes and done it myself with fair results I would not advocate it I promis. I like my opinions as much as the next guy but it stops being opinion when I can put it to the test and have success on more than one occasion. Luciancockfight is from a place where cockers are religious when it comes to breeding. Open minds gather more knowledge folks is all I am going to say. I may not have a phd but I have a couple BA and AS degrees that say I am a diligent man in seeking knowledge.

Got a new phone.. hopefully start posting pics again soon...

My fowl pox black stag passed away. He started eating and drinking real good but yesterday he looked really depressed and was dead when I got home from work..
That sucks

Your birds are always pristine

Thanks I just don't take pictures when everything is a mess lol

You do know that it's a job, sexing eggs that is. People that are able in what ever fashion/method they use to sex eggs for sale.
If they could sex eggs the egg industry wouldn't waste time incubating and culling all those males. Come on man time is money and if anybody would want to be able to it would definately be them.

Lol why do you cull, I don't cull for sex. I keep pullets from particular stock and stags are culled based on much more than just being a cock. Cattle ranchers cull, is that because they have too much of one sex? I'm not claiming sexing eggs is an exact science, just that it can be done with some accuracy, if you know your birds. Which most of us do I would venture to say. "The universe gives us all the answers we have but to pay attention"

If it could be done the egg industry would be doing it. Do fair results equal 50% ? That's not hard to achieve.

Seeing as business is what I do I know the marketing angles and it would make for a long pointless debate. But the rate of success is a factor and much like anything involving man kind there is room for error. Practice makes perfect they say so I may not be able to hit a home run 9 of 10 swings but there are quite a few out there that can. Also consider the quality of our birds vs that of such a business. Too many variables to say no way but enough to question.

man I'm telling you if it could be done the hatcheries of egg laying hens for backyard flocks would definitely be doing it. They cull so many of them unwanted roosters day in and day out. Don't you think if they could they would only set "female" eggs. That's business.
