Alrighty guys I need ya'lls advice what would be best to put on my rosters foot before we got him he had gotten in a pen fight and put a nice gash on his left foot the before pic is all the infection we was able to get out and the after pic is after the infection was out what would be good to put on it to keep infection from coming back thank you for any advice

Whoever let it get that bad shouldn't own chickens. Neosporin, iodine, blu kote take your pick. Anything anti bacterial.

I agree they don't need any animal I seen him like this I told my boyfriend I wanted him cause it looked horrible I felt so sorry I couldn't leave him there to lose a leg to the infection and thank you for the advice I never had to do anything like this until I bought him it knocked both of his spurs off will them grow back?
 
I think it depends if they knock the spur completely off. I have a few roosters with 1 spur. Imo infections from minor injuries like that are easily prevented. Takes about 2 seconds to put neosporin on it.

Okay like I said I ain't had to do anything like this cause all my roosters are healthy and secure from getting loose... But I felt sorry for him so I got him hopefully with TLC his foot will be ok thank you for your advice

I'm not questioning you at all. Might as well get the rest too. I have one that will tear his feet up kicking the inside of his pen at me just feeding and watering. If he does it I just go back later and do battle with him to fix him up.
