He's coming along nicely!  Will be a nice contrast when mature with the deep red and blue.

thanks what seems impossible is to show is the dark on his back, hackles, and wings are a deep iridescent wine red over the other red

Thanks again for the input on the tie-cords, they arrived non to soon as the two young miner stags decided they were no longer friends today.  Fortunately, I was right there.  Boy they are fast!  Just let them out in the yard...

17 weeks. I know, they should have been separated a while ago, but they had things worked out until today... I think the #2 stag had enough being #2. They seem a little down being in their own pens.

Yeah, they do have that pullet appearance.... I like the dark eyes. The look nice.

[They have a very distinct way of looking must be the big black eyes

Yeah they're eyes are huge, they really stand out.
