Hey sdm111. Remember those pics I showed u with the snare and the fox. It's been weeks and he hasn't been back. This is the first time that's ever happened. Maybe between getting zapped by both fences and then getting tangled by the leg he figured it wasn't worth it.

Yeas, and good. Don't know how true it is but makes since to me, old man told me one time Fox problems peak when the young are being taught to prey by their parents and that's when they move a lot also. Like when you would have a spike in sightings when it has otherwise been slow

Yep. And then again in the early fall when the pups are on their own. Then again during extreme cold. Snares are still set regardless so it don't matter too much.

I just had a hen do what I could best describe as crow.... pretty freaking hilarious.

I had one as a kid that crowed. She layed too, but I always assumed it was a little extra testosterone... It sounded more like a young stag trying to figure the whole crowing thing out.

Its a hen for sure. Its subsided but a very specific set of events occurred and essentially was epicly jealous. Definitely a first for me.

I get hens that crow as well.. I've had several different hens crow, but they never crow consistently, just during specific times liek you said... for me its usually a free range hen who isn't breeding with a cock and/or has older chicks. **And it seems to only happen when they jump onto a fence
