Shubin I don't know buddy. I live in the most densely populated state in the country. The most expensive and hardest place to own a house, highest property taxes etc.. Yes I live in a rural part of the state. Believe it or not there is some areas left. I work in Philadelphia, and not the nicest areas either.
I grew up in the suburbs not far from Camden, NJ. Not too long ago was the nations murder capital. It is a h*llhole like you wouldn't believe. I've seen your pics you don't live in a city.

I'm going to have Pass on that I for one know nothing about chicken cold storage

this qualifies don't it?

Oh yeah shubin. Screaming in a trap? Are you kidding me. Traps restrain an animal or kill quickly. You've watched one too many westerns. No teeth on traps, I can't even use footholds here. Cages, snares with relaxing locks and body gripping traps under water that break the neck on impact. Quit watching Disney movies and you'll be alright.
I use snares most of the time. Ive released countless small beavers, young raccoons, skunks and even a few fawns. No harm done.
Do some real research and search BMP's for trapping. Stay off the HSUS and peta bandwagon and we'll be good.

I've got a question I somewhat new to raising shamoes and sence winter is coming I wanted to know how I can help my shamoes survive low temperatures, and it can get pretty colr here in sc so I need all the help I can get
Keep the wind off of them, feed them plenty and the hardest part make sure they have water not ice. They need to be hydrated to stay warm. Other than that it ain't that bad in SC you'll be fine.

When it's cold the pens stay fairly clean. Chicken turds freeze as soon as they hit the ground. Hardly any mess, simple to clean up. You never pick up a bird with sh*tty feet. That's always a bonus.
