He's about 6.5 months and just moved into the new pens. I should get some new pics... The brother/nest mate is more striking in appearance, but the dark male is definitely the top bird!
All mine are molting bad. This years stags are 3 splash (dark in the hackles) 1 blue and 1 black. I'll take some new pics in the morning. The 3 splash are identical.

yeah, I've never seen a game pullet have this much color. The other one is jet black with a couple white flight feathers in each wing, other than color they're exactly alike.
Most stags grow in just there saddle feathers in the middle of the back. Yours are growing in all at once around the sides too.
In my limited experience... I sure would guess a stag too. Rooster has way more experience in this area, but the color and shape of the feathers makes me think stag. Flypen, is that what you were hoping for to get a pullet and a stag?
