the pea comb can get frostbit too, if I can get a good pic of one tomorrow, I'll put it up.
I have a young male with the ugliest frostbit pea comb, it was ugly anyway, the frostbite does,
t help, lol
I was/am planning to remove it when he gets a little older

I've got plenty of pea combs with frostbite too but the big straight combs are by far the worst

this Ancona hen could care less about the cats trying to stay out of the weather. She whoops on the cats too. Can't figure out why these cats are in her luxury nest box.

1st day above 32, got my first highnoon lieper egg today!

I am getting eggs from pullets now but still almost a month away before birds will be allowed to set clutches.

1st day above 32, got my first highnoon lieper egg today!

I got my first high noon leiper egg about two weeks ago. Only got 4 since then though. It's 43 here today. Crazy how warm it feels compared to what it's been. 21 tomorrow and back down to 5 tomorrow night

same here way too cold yet. Still gonna have plenty of nights well below freezing
