my pole building collapsed just a bit ago, bummer. I noticed yesterday it was listing a bit, the added weight of todays rain and snow was too much I guess.
no chickens involved, they are in the shed attached to the garage. I hope that it hangs in there, my house roof as well,
I haven't even given much consideration to the inevitable ice jams and flooding that will happen(happens most every year), I live right on French Creek,

184 foot frontage, with a great little fishing hole right in my backyard

Sounds like a great place! except the ice and snow

All the snow and ice lately is getting ridiculous. Got another 10 in coming on thurs. That's after all the rain today and tomorrow. I'm really starting to enjoy it now.

Does anyone know where to find American miniature games? Not old English or american batams but the real deal bred down from full size games.

I will have to check it out. I have always been hesitant to buy on oakridge. But I guess if they have good reviews it might be worth a try.

2014 hen/pullet should be hatching her first clutch of eggs soon... she is sitting on an unknown number of eggs she laid in the neighbors yard. Hopefully they all make it over to my house without problems.

Bates hatch, I'm going to set a couple batches from her, bred pure to a Bates cock.

That's good looking hen. do you have a picture of the cock?

I was looking through Google images and it shows all kinds of different bates hatches, from spangled to lemon hackle to dark hackles like hers. Some are pea and some are straight combed... Do you know what direction you want to go? seems like there is a lot of options....
