my first ever gamefowl hatching

I was out of town Thursday, plus it happened during work hours so it wouldn't have mattered. I have a battery back up for it now so this want happen again
that sucks man. I have the cord that plugs in and attaches to a car or lawnmower battery (hovabator) but if the power goes out when I ain't home it isn't gonna do me much good

With high value broods consider using a UPS like used for computers. Such would buy several hours of time with grid down. I have used similar with fish where backup generator otherwise too large or impractical to make ready to power up automatically without my intervention.

Yes sir your right, this UPS will cure any problems in the future

I just looked all that up. I need something like that I guess. I've always just hoped the power don't go out when I ain't home. Not really the best plan huh

set 2 clutches under 2 grey broodies about a week and a half apart. One sweater broody letting a miner go broody. And 2 kelso hatch pullets go broody for " training " if you will. So much easier to have a little troop of broody workers. That's their job. I do have an incubator going right now but it's not my eggs
