Isee these big gamefowl farms online and I wonder what they had to do to go commercial

Most I suspect are inspected. Especially when birds / eggs sold across state lines. Almost ll that I know are registered with the state poultry association. Those that are not which I know are not someone I would want birds from anyway.

My guess again is they started small and as they achieved more and more success their business grew along with it. It wouldn't be too hard to lose sight of the end game and make mistakes that would destroy your reputation overnight. For example. $$$ getting in the way and affecting your decisions.

Many people have good birds that aren't inspected or registered with the man.

I would think you might not have much choice if you were so good and really big to the point of being commercial.

Some people are pretty particular about new birds brought into their yards. They like assurances birds are clean regardless of quality. Quality and disease-free do not always go hand in hand. Some sellers also use inspections as a selling point.
