Easiest door I've put on a penthe door wire is one link larger than the opening then I put 3 or 4 clips on it to keep the door shut

I did this for a few of my pens... Too bad you can't just use the cut out piece ... But have to cut out another piece one size bigger... kind of a waste of fencing. But I used the scrap cutout pieces for a tomato cage.

Feels like I am reaching the peak of breeding season.. Bunch of broody and mama hens. More than half of my hens are taking care of eggs or chicks.

A few minutes with a pair of needle nose pliers and some steel gadge wire works too.

I knew I had a close up somewhere... I used extension springs as latches.. but I don't they work that good, too flimsy.

Is this worth $50.. seems like a good deal to me, considering how long it took me to make 4 stall nesting box.
