I noticed the same thing. Arent sweaters basicly a yellow legged hatch crossed with kelso? Hmmm. He did say they were 3/4 sweater 1/4 cobra asil. He told me this after i bought them and called him to ask if they had asil in them cause they have such long necks he told me yesthey do have 1/4 cobra asil in them. Im not a fan of asil. I like the trio i bought. I think they were well worth the 120 i paid for them. I also got a few other breeds of gamefowl chicks and one quail sized hen. He says he has anothernquail sized hen for me. He said its a kelso hen that has solid white colored hackles on her. Sounds really neat. this guy is the only local person tnat was willing to sell me a trio that was of breeding age that i can either collect the eggs from them or just let them hatch the eggs themselves. I just worry about the eggs getting to hot possibly. If i leave the eggs in the nest like i plan to. Will one of the hens eventually start sitting on the eggs and hatch them? I know i ask a lot of questions and i apologize. I greatly appreciate everyones help, input, and guidance.

Basic sweater is 3/4 Kelso 1/4 hatch can't remember which one With an infusion of what each developer wanted. Flypen could Prolly tell you

I also got four little chicks. One leiper hatch, two roundhaeds and one blue grey. The leiper hatch chick could barely get off its knees when i got it. Its head kept drooping down and it just got worse and worse. Now the blue grey is doing the same thing. Im not sure whats goin on but im gonna go get some medicated feed for them this morning and try that? Anyone have any ideas or advice on what to do with the chick? I allready have electrolyte/vitamin supplament powder in their water at half strength. I dont wana over do anything with the little ones.

When the chicks are not healthy they drop their heads or tuck their heads into their shoulders. usually when they get to that point they arent going to make it. Keep using the electrolyte powder, and medicated feed could help. I would spray them for bugs.. I noticed that mites cause big problems for the chicks.

I have the problem when a hen is nesting for long periods without dust bathing, they start to get mites. When the chicks hatch they are covered in them.. I completely wet the chicks with this spray and it they perk right up within a day or so.

All but one of my hens are great setters I would imagine they'll set games are known for that. And don't worry about the questions that's part of the read on this page exists
