Lol, it's entertaining up here to say the least.
My favorite rooster broke the outermost layer of the top of his beak right on top the corner of his mouth (not badly, just a noticeable underbite), tore his waddle, and messed his prop toes up; trying to pen fight with a laying breed rooster through a hole in the plywood covering the wire. Everytime the other rooster went to roost (the hole was about a foot away from both roost poles in adjacent pens,) he'd hit that spot and try to tear more of that weak plywood off. I was confused as to why leg scales were falling off, so I watched him a while a few days ago and thought putting a feed bag over it might help.. Plus he's bad for popping weakly latched doors open and going haywire in the yard. He's the smartest, and now ugliest rooster on my yard, but I love this one. He's tame as a baby.
