Pens look real good shubin.

Thanks now I just need real good looking fowl to put in them.

I got SDM fowl all in one... I had them separate but they freaked out at sunset and wanted to roost together... so I have all 3 in the center pen.. I will start separating them soon.

I think its composite (fiber filled resin)... but not like fiberglass layup, more like press molded. From Home Depot.  

I don't know if that roofing is the same as I have or not but mine have lasted a year with no problems at all. Held snow pretty well too. The stuff I have smells like dog food. Not sure why. Weird I know.

Shubin you'd be happy. I have a free range leiper pullet that's just been running the yard and sleeping in the trees the past few days. Gotta round her up soon before I lose her though

I was thinking about doing something similar but I decided it was just far too expensive to justify.

it would be nice for say 20ish but when getting to your kind of numbers yeah it'd get pricey

Oh yeah there ain't no way I'd be able to do that. Had to replace 7 tarps the other day. Look brand new now lol.
You guys were talking the other day about birds dusting in the yard. Well today I was walking out to the pens, twisted my ankle in a dusting hole, fell on my *ss and dumped my feed bucket. Gotta love it!

I put my birds to work as educational tools today. My kids (3.5 yrs and 2 yrs) went to help me feed. Son got to count out between 3 and five scoops over 50 times before a praying mantis provided distraction that could not be ignored. Daughter followed dog after a rabbit. My daughter has proven that rabbit does not want to be caught by her.
