Any Tips?maybe the ones for show?
That's what you get when you buy dirt cheap birds. Seriously though she is sick, try vitamins, clean water (daily) clean pens more often etc.. I'm not a fan of medicines if they aren't absolutely needed.I know but this 1 hen has had a runny snot covered nose and comb where it meets the nose and for moths now. I cant help but to think that might be the cause, after the tetracycline treatment if no change that comb is coming off
Not sure how you have your pens/waterers set up but if the bird had to stick his big comb through the wire put the water on the inside. Like maycan said combs ain't causing sickness. It's something else.im actually thinking of dubbing my 2 leg horns but just so they can get better, water and snott gets trapped between the comb and nostril. not my game hens thou, they are pretty as is I prefer the small to pea comb on my game hens
I am definitely not an expert on dubbing birds but there are plenty of videos and tutorials if you do a search. It would help you better than anything anyone can say anyway.Any Tips?
