That's info that will need to be learned over time there's too much to them to just tell you. Check the greys head if it looks like he had a comb chances are he was straight if he look is like he never had a comb chances are he's pea. Also putting hens together that have not grown up together can be just like putting cocks together as far as books grit and steel and the gamecock come to mind others will chime in to add to this post. Thanks for taking an interest in these awesome birds that to me are slowly disappearing

Hey to everyone that has given me ovation and with comments. I wasn't ignoring anyone. I used to get email notifications but since about September for some reason I haven't gotten any. Not sure why. I usually just use my phone to take pics and check the forum.
Does everyone else still get emails or what?

Of course I moved 3 pullets into a bigger pen with just a shade cloth. Supposed to rain tomorrow afternoon. Well it just started pouring. Yep I just pulled a tarp over the top. Had to dig a ladder out of the shed, headlamp pouring rain what fun! Can't leave them out in the rain like that. Lol
Still got one free ranging leiper pullet though. She's in the trees. Oh well
