Same here but most will just give it all up. And the next generation will know no different and the cycle continues until we get back to the English ways and their bullsh*t laws. Seems as though people forget why this country was founded in the first place.

And more importantly I could never imagine our Military going door to door to collect said guns. Because they are regular folks like us who own guns as well. Military is always a separate entity than the gov and has been throughout history in different empires (during revolutions, regime changes, etc)

It doesn't take balls to get a gun. It's a right. Not much else to say about it.
While I could care less about ar-15's, m4 and other tactical type guns. That's where they start because the way they look. Scary to the naive. Then they start on semi auto shotguns. (Duck hunting) until they got every last single shot .22 cal. It's a joke. The politicians are flat out lying and pretending to do something meaningful to stop gun violence. All they are really doing is making the red tape longer, and the flaming hoops higher to jump through to be able to purchase a gun, with the hopes that people won't think it's worth it.

None of that is the point. Anybody can make them. The real issues are privacy rights, unlawful searches etc.. It's all tied in together. Most people don't even know the rights that they have and they consent to searches that turn up something unknowingly to them contraband. Rule of thumb regardless always say no and make the b*stards get a search warrant. They've turned this country into a bunch of militarized thugs terrorizing the citizens, ironically the very people who pay their salary through taxes. Ok I'm done
