Currently 18 degrees. I can hold off on the lawn mowing a bit.

I've been getting a few eggs the past few days. A couple blacks, penny's, miners, black grey, mug, and a few outta that little pumpkin pullet. Got 10 saved. I usually toss the first few outta each.

Flypen, I am envious! That is a beautiful spring time pick.

Overall, I can't complain about our winter. Hopefully we get past the cold this weekend and things will moderate a little next week. The girls are laying a little, but the cold tends to slow them down.

Honestly, we need a couple weeks of freezing weather to help with the vegetation on the lakes and kill off a few mosquitoes.

I hear ya. I didn't think we would get much in the way of freezing temps this year, but the next two nights are supposed to be down in the single digits maybe even 0. That is cold enough for me!
