Dang! That snow melts fast!

No questioning that young stag I posted earlier. When I was rearranging pens yesterday he slipped out and I just let him go since all the other birds were on cords far away. Haha. That lasted about 10 sec. He made a bee line for my leiper hen, tried to mate her and without stopping came upon my almost two year old leiper on a cord. That's the most fired up I've ever seen a relatively young stag. Lol

yes sir. Supposed to be 72 degrees tomorrow. I had to move everything cause it was getting to be a mess and I'm absolutely anal about that kind of stuff. Once again thank god for my wife cause with her helping it still took me 3 days to do everything that needed done. Now I gotta rake up both run areas till up the soil and lime it and re seed it all.

Got a few eggs rocking and rolling as we speak! Always exciting. Couple blacks and some leiper x penny crosses.

Put a little icing on the cake and take her out to eat. I have to keep my wife smiling, she takes care of everything when I'm gone 4 days a week.

dubbing dates are coming up too. Think I'll be pushing my luck to ask for help huh? Lol.
Had a prolapsed hen yesterday too. She's good with them. Pushed back in used animax ointment and had her back out in a clean pen before I got home from work. Favorite hen too!

temporary staking. Seems to work for everyday use, might need more if expecting extremely heavy winds. Stakes on opposite corners and zip tied will work for now and I don't mind cutting zip ties. If anyone else has better solutions I'm all ears. Gotta be able to get em out fairly often though with no doors lol
