Ive never done it. All my birds that I have bred I keep untrimmed, because I a wuss.

I knew it! They even put up an electric fence to try to stop you...

It's not that hard! Should do it, they'd look like some uniformed up champs.

I know they do look better trimmed. My two spanish are trimmed and they look like fighters, compared to all the other roosters.
