No Dont have the Hennie Variant ,I have not seen many Hennies in my Area.

on these only if the grey is bred into this Toppy family, , I have a greyxmug hen that is bred to the old Koopman pure bred ,the chicks are still young but are ,Dunn Blu ,actually slate , few black also ,but the toppy is slight, ,when the koopman are x on high percantage Koopman the toppy is more pronounced.

I hope to see how your chicks mature. The toppies are something I used to play with a lot. Cut my teeth in genetics with those guys.

I caught a coon last night in a boxtrap bought yesterday. killed him. it felt good!!
plenty more out there, gonna get more traps, for every one I catch, there are probably ten others. I saw a mum with three smaller ones just after dark,
no mercy for them

I had a REACHER CREATURE also the other night pulled few feathers on my blue hen so im also getting things in order ,my hens are in domes with extra layer of wire so that saved her,but I too am getting ready.

Buy a few dog proof coon traps. You'll catch a lot more than with cages. Some of them will never step foot in a cage.

I put 1/2 inch over the 1x2 on a little grow out pen I made, also 1x2 laying on the ground, after one tunneled under the wire and killed two chicks. I have over a hundred bucks in wire in that little thing,
I've lost about ten this year 2, 3 at a pop

these Diablo with zinc coating work great ,and have cleanout on the bottom ,when season rolls around these are the only coon traps i use ,put dry catfood in the slathered in shell fish oil.
