That hen I posted the other day with chicks went all chuck Norris on me yesterday. Just cleaning her waterer. She is a good mother so far.

Lol, I had a hen go up my leg just for walking by her chicks and one squealed

I have had a few hens run them off and peck them pretty good a little early on. Just that one that killed all but one right at hatch. I am very patient with the birds but that hen p*ssed me off. Culled her a few hours later. She was a nervous, flighty hen from the get go but I decided to give her time. Should have listened to my gut and culled her last year.

I got a penny stag from last year that cannot stand my wife. He punched a hole in a milk jug once. I watched from a distance and sure enough she does nothing wrong and he's trying to peck her when feeding, and watering. Numerous times I've seen it. In the other hand I can reach in and grab him with one hand. Like a one owner dog. Lol
