so, missing the wife yet?

Yep. Got most of the yard work all done this past weekend now I don't know what to do with myself. I wanna move pens around but might as well wait for them to finish molting.

We have a RIR named Blue Jay, ugly duckling (ducky) because she was rejected but the cutest little chipmunk chick I've ever seen, three black australorps penny penguin, canary and goose.

She named the 3 chicks Jeri, E,& D, and our calico cat's name is frog.

I realized I forgot to ask how I'm supposed to get my chickens to go in their tractor instead of the tree? I'm starting school again tomorrow, and I would prefer not having to get chickens out of a tree every night. Mal figured out how to climb up the tree with his messed up wing even! Time to put the chickens away.

I'm starting school again tomorrow, and I would prefer not having to get chickens out of a tree every night. Mal figured out how to climb up the tree with his messed up wing even! Time to put the chickens away.

My games will always default to the trees, unless they are confined to a pen/aviary for months... And even then, after 1 or 2 days outside coop they will end up following all the other chickens into the trees.

Maybe if they were raised in a coop since birth they would prefer that, but I have never tried.

When I let them out, they may try to go back to the same spot they slept in the night before. But usually the next evening they end up in trees
