No I was joking with sdm111 awhile back. I have a few layer hens 2 are blue andulusians. I have not and will not breed games and layers together.
All those blues and splash are miner blues.

ok ,I gotya just Curious, , I also dont let accidents happen ,can be infiltration of bad stuff,, I do admire all your pics Those Splash are Aweinspiring .

I broke up a nest from another miner hen the other day. Eggs weren't any good anyway. This particular hen was molting bad. I still don't know where she was I looked everyday for two weeks with no luck. No worries I know where every single bird came from on the yard all are marked and or banded. Except for these 5 new chicks that she showed up with.
I have leiper, ruble, penny/wh, black/ruble, wh/Kelso stags running loose, so it's a miner cross with one of them. No proof so I'll eat em or give me away I suppose.

or it could be several stags that mated her, you might have some tough stags from that

Also consider that two (or more) hens may have laid eggs in that same nest

We could SWAP a few chicks ,I also have a HELIFiNoz Hatch ,,they are so nice looking chicks i just dont know the hens one side ,,,Koopman ,hatch and HELIFiNoz.

I just threw 4 pure miner eggs. She went Broody about a week ago. No more hatching for me till the spring.
