Had to pen that splash miner. He was doing a little too good a job of servicing everything on the yard, bothering the younger stags a little too much for my taste.
Got a couple more that need penning over the next day or so. I'm trying to wait as long as I can and maintain some kind of order in the yard but it's all starting to go to h*ll in a handbasket quickly

Went out last night to catch a stag, I used a 18' telescoping pole that I taped a 6" 2x2 on the end. When I found him, I put it up to his breast and he stepped onto the 2x2. That's been my easiest catch so far this year.

I remember the days of climbing out and reaching out as far as i could and grabbing, Im not that limber any more.
