right? The only thing that would make this guy a solid 10/10, for me in my opinion, is if he had fire red eyes. Can't wait till I start producing some Hatch stags, that should come out with red eyes, and hopefully look as great as Rhavocs leipers. @roosterhavoc you sir, raise some sweet games, my highest respects to you.

I am surprised feral chickens can persist at all with the mongoose being so abundant. Mine could get off broods on ground reliably only when dogs patrolled a lot.
I've seen a mongoose kill a dozen ground squirrels at a time over at my uncle's house not to far from me... He had some of my chickens roaming free and something ate all of the chicks, but the adults survived (ended up selling them).

While I appreciate the comments. Every blue, splash, gray/dun colored bird came from sdm111 in the form of eggs. Along with solid advice.
The whitehackle/Kelso stags I have. Half the blood came from sdm111. Eggs.
That blue stag I posted on a cord the other day. All blood came from sdm111.
I have just raised them.
I don't do anything different than anyone else. Maybe feed a little different and fresh water every single day. That's it.

I would say if your sitting on the computer posting on a chicken forum and your pens are a sh*tty mess or they are drinking dirty water then you should re think owning any type of chicken.
