dont know. I always throw em back. I'm out testing flies. Red and white was the color of the day as it usually is with these guys. The simplest red and white flies did better than any of my other elaborate creations.any good eating

I think they are for real. We used to sell battle cocks for $50 to $150 each once they were tamed to handling. Most of the time they were sold in groups of five to six. This was more than 30 years ago so taking into account inflation all seems in line. Ours were sold for what is now illegal purposes. We never sold hens to my knowledge although brood fowl where traded with friends. If brood fowl were to have been sold then price would be higher as they would be close four years old or more.
