I hear you. I think there are game chickens by type, etc. Then, there are game chickens bred for what's in their attitude or head.

I would add athleticism rather than physicality to what working games have been bred for. Nor do you put a scrawny nerd that knows all the plays on football playing field when you have more appropriately athletic people that have the same level of knowledge about the game.

Tomorrow we are expecting a record 88 F. This is right after I got pens into winter configuration. Birds taking heat pretty good today. Even had a hen come off with 13 chicks this morning. Had no idea she was brooding because she slipped off nest seamlessly every time I came out to feed and water until last two days when I figured something was up.

thanks, nah he'll be 2yrs next spring he's not dubbed cause when it was cold last year he was still growing then it got hot. I'd rather wait than have any grow back.
