thanks. Not bad. Got on the water at 5:05 and had the canoe loaded back up by 6:50. Fishing has been good lately. Headed down to West Virginia in a day or so for a solo fishing/camping trip. After trout and smallmouth.

I was thinking the same thing.

Ain't a fish that swims that can't be caught on a fly rod of the appropriate size. Sob took my fly too deep too had to cut the line.

Sdm111 you need to break out that fly rod. This pond I fished tonight gets hammered by fishermen all the time. They ain't used to seeing flies and streamers. They are used to the usual spinnerbaits, crankbaits etc.. from a spinning gear.
