Two stags and a pullet already into second round of beating the crap out of each other. They are next to each other because I put them there. These are same birds I broke up a couple weeks ago by putting them in a pen that was placed in a larger breeding pen housing a brood cock. Will repeat to see if it suppresses action again. It is easy to tell by voices when they go into battle royal mode.

This dirty-Hatch bird within days of being a cock. He and brothers will be dubbed as soon as nights start getting cold.

We were expeting a record high of 88 F. It was 92 F by 2:00 PM.

kinda hot for you're area, 86-86 here today suppose to be 72ish by the weekend day time mornings 50's

It is going to be hot again today. The heat is accompanied by a strong wind that sucks the water bowls dry. Birds in heavy molt liking it as easy to stay warm. Even now temperature in the 70's. I have yet half dozen stags to pen up and hoping I can get a cool evening for that yet this week.
