20 ft up a tree trying to get to a stag to get his leg band off.

Got the stag. It's a little harder climbing back down with a bird in one hand

Done that many times catching up stags when younger .... i have came down out of the tree with 2 to 3 in hand and under arm . I would carry some string/rope to tie legs together and tie to me so i could use at least one hand coming down.
I have fished them out of the trees Flypen's way .... a good flashlight and a pole with small 5-6 inch perch on the end . You better have a good neck as it will hurt you after catching out 20 or 30 .
