But back in the day before internet ,, lotsa hokus pokus was taken as gospel ,, only real way for newbies to learn was out of the pages of Gamecock ,I listened to Elders and the earlobe thing Around this Rural area was not popular.

It has been a long time since I literally heard a discussion about white earlobes. What I vaguely remember is that being born with white lobes was not an issue, rather negative was if they were still evident on dubbed birds.

We also saw a small percentage carrying the trait. Of ours that did, they were typical of Hatch.
