What were you concerned about? Stag fights? Turkey fights? Or having birds in the cold?

stags. Rubles to be exact. They are a little later to mature but when they do. They leave a path of destruction.
They aren't late maturing really, just not as quick as my blacks

yea I know what you mean. Late Bloomers.

I tend to find that stags that are slower to feather dont game out as fast. My Spanish cross feathered out early and acted accordingly.

My Spanish are the same way. They are quick to feather out and mature.
