Is that more typical of Miners? The old pics of some of Lloyd Miner's males are black and white, but the descriptions usually say straight comb yellow legged. I tend to like the darker birds and the pea comb works better up here in the winter, but some seem pretty set on one style or the other.I have another friend in SW Louisiana that has the Miners 100% straight comb and 100% yellow legs
ive got blues ,they've never done much Mining.I wonder if the Miner blues are suffering from peddlers crossing them up and calling them pure?
Some people might have the mentality "If its blue it must be pure Miner, or at least I can sell it for more money if I call if Miner blue."
