Crowing
Maybe flypen is still monitoring the thread I believe he was saying something about a nice and a mean version of Larry's Albany. One sure is getting a lil rambunctious. Real calm in hand but rough walking in his pen
I spent a few days in S. Texas on a 6000 acre Ranch with no cell service, it was sorta nice. That's why I've been offline so long. Everyone was able to tag some awesome deer, my wife got her a 163" 12pt, I took a 40" Oryx and a Axis doe for the freezer. Sdm, Mr. Larry has 2 lines of Albanys, one is pea comb the other is straight comb. As far as temperament, attitude, and performance I think his straight comb family are some of the best Albanys in the country. Almost always when you get a family of gamefowl at their best, your going to have a stag or two push their limits. We just have to work with them or cull, in some cases we are forced to use them for brood then cull later if they don't get better. That's saying that the stag is manageable.
