Got some memory there lol ain't been on here in ages, good on here for advice about american fowl coz there is some rubbish breeds out there they say is "american game" in the UK hard to find good american birds , even English

I watched a documentary about gamefowl in the U.K. awhile ago. It was probably an hour long. Anyway they were using American gamefowl but these birds were massive. Some guy was breeding tons of birds in his basement and they were turning out just fine. It was kinda old but cool nonetheless, can't find it now. Had some info on France and the whole deal in certain parts and certain times of the year.

Yh why are they so big over here I had a kelso cock he was unreal size like near shamo size probs different cross and they are hard to find believe me well a good pair anyway

I don't know but in that video every bird I saw looked well over 6 lbs, some looked much bigger.
Probably crosses or straight Belgian gamefowl. I forget the name, can't pronounce it anyway.

What you think 3 month stag supposed to be pumpkin hulsey

Three color types would look similar at that age. Pumpkin, redquill (ginger), and brown-breasted brown red. Pumpkin requires better aspect on those retrices to diagnose. Redquill (ginger) can be discerned based on down coloration and color of sisters. Brown-breasted brown red like I have lack the spots on the redquil and have black retrices.

I am not certain I would call all pumpkins Pumpkin Hulsey as the coloration is not restricted to that lineage.

Pretty sure everyone knows what he was asking and what he meant without a scientific dissertation. Thanks anyway.
Just say feathers!

I wrote in clear and concise English. Retrica (singular of retrices) ≠ Feather. Retrica = Flight Fleather. Intent was to be specific using fewer taps in the key board.

You feeling irritable today? Have some cookies and milk. I am getting some brownies.

the wing flight feathers are remiges. Tail flight feathers are retrices. You should have been more specific. Yes I had to google that. I just knew them as flight feathers. I have eaten far too many cookies this season, need to cut back. Arguing on here with you is the next best thing.

You are not arguing, rather you are advancing the diction of those interested in game fowl. I, and I am sure others, will subsequently upgrade our use of terms when it comes to feather terminology. You are to be thanked most sincerely. Now let me back to my brownies.
