He's Prolly not less than 5mo due to light cycles unless his mother was under lights. 9mo he should have what about 1/4" 1/2" spurs

Thank ya I was figuring 7-10months he just started hitting the hens before this. They are about a 1/4 inch so we're in that range.

This guy was hatched on sept 2. You can see his one spur just past my arm

I do my best with my birds I work 5:30-5 and try to let my youngn's help which is why it may have happened. I don't know what happen but I did tend to him today after work he was so bloody his beek scabed over I had to cut that open and took a damp rag to open his eyes. I didn't mess with him till this evening to keep him calm.

I think something spooked him animal wise and he got stuck and the other just tried to finish him off while he was stuck. I did however find that it is likely he got stuck his heal toe is got a cut that goes halfway through and scabed over. I am not culling him at this time, I'll do my best to make sure he's gameness is on par once healed. Appreciated the opinions and advice fellas and I'm sure I'll learn new things everyday if I don't then theirs no point in it.

I only have one adult male on the property. No stags, just new chicks. I let him & one hen out the other day. Left the pen door open & while my head was turned my 8wk old pup wandered in there, disturbing my setting wheaten hen. She chased him out right to Tucock, & they started gangbanging that poor little guy. But I was right there to step in between & scoop him up before he lost an eye or something. Lesson learned, for both me & the cur.

Anyway, stuff happens even right under your nose sometimes despite your best efforts.

They are hard but scabed over just like all that happened yesterday evening he took a beating I'm actually surprised he's living to be honest with ya he couldn't defend him self.

If you have a pic of him pm it to me.
Just make sure his nose isn't clogged. Vetrx is good for bunch of things. You can drip it in his nostrils, and down his throat. Neosporin on all his cuts will help him heal faster. Vitamins and dextrose in his water can all help.
