LOL. I do allow the chicks to come down of the roost so I can at least get a handle on whether proper toms or not. In all seriousness, Here the abundance of Turkeys is high, especially in my immediate vicinity. Cherry picking increases odds you have more to lie about until next season.

Yeah very true. Once you've been hunting all day or for days at a time you may start to lower your expectations. H*ll when fishing I'll try for a bluegill just so I don't get skunked. Even that don't work all the time.
