Maybe all they really need is a hug

Anything? Am curious what's best, or preferred, for tying flies...

Or a walking dead fox, lol...
Ha! No not anything, especially if there isn't any fur left on em. Most feathers and furs have uses in fly tying. I use a lot of fox (red, gray, and a lot of arctic fox tail hair. Beaver, mink, muskrat, tons of chicken feathers both rooster and hen capes and saddles. Duck feathers. Mainly mallard flank, wood duck flank, teal and gadwall. Rabbit fur, and hide with fur on cut into strips etc.. ruffed grouse, spruce grouse, quail, bobwhite, coturnix, scaled. Ptarmigan, Hungarian partridge etc... I could keep going on and on. Mostly I use a lot of deer hair, belly hair and buck tails and rooster, hen capes and saddle feathers.

Good to know! I figured some things wouldn't ever be used and some are more used/useful than others...
Ever need a supply or extras?

Are you kidding me? Providing a drink of water to the ants! Feeding the wildlife. Couldn't be more *ss backwards. Why do you think CA has so many bear problems. Dumb*sses feed them til they become comfortable around humans. Ending with them dying all because some wackjob thought they were thinking outside the box. There's a big word for that shubin. I've posted it before. You know the one.
We take so much from nature/wildlife.. but cant put it back? Sounds selfish to me... You can be a taker, but I prefer to give back.

I have water dishes outside my fence for the rabbits and squirrels also that I fill up everyday.

and condensation from my AC unit drips into a water dish in front yard for the wildlife.

Typical. They don't need your help. There were rabbits and squirrels long before you came along. Whatever helps you sleep at night. I suppose as long as you get that warm fuzzy feeling that's all that really matters. Nevermind the fact that you do more harm than good.

I've put up wood duck boxes, cleaned up streams. Donated to restoration efforts on various other projects. Like I've said before. Your efforts fall far short of making any real difference. Ever buy that federal duck stamp? Didn't think so.
